After reading this blog :
http://community.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=9133
It dawned on me that indeed CCP in fact are doing some great work in showing the botters just who is boss by a show of power!!
A Jovian kind of power display would have been nice but meeeh this will certainly do =D so great work CCP & great work CCP Sreegs.
I think killing RMT will be much more difficult though. The "powerful" people in this game are undoubtedly heads of the larger alliances. It is alleged that these powerful alliances and some of the more well known players do take advantage of RMT.
[ excluding the Veld God that is Chribba ]
My question is this, If this is true [I did state alleged above] how will CCP deal with this situation?
Of course there is no player/s bigger than the game but some people do carry a certain amount of weight within Eve and It's in-game infrastructure. I am however curious as to how CCP will approach this, and to that end how they will deal with this. |

1. You did not state anything alleged above. 2. Your post confirms OP by way of reaction.

But these people are sad pathetic losers in life. They are addicted to a video game to the point they spend every waking hour guiding their alliance. They more than likely have no job, no income, no partner/wife, no children and living off the state on handouts. All because of a precious alliance.
An alliance in a world of pixels, something not at all real. Are pixels *really* worth losing out on life for?
I love Eve but I dis-allow it to dominate my life, I play this game for fun and nothing more. It does not consume me unlike alliance heads.
RMT is very very bad and hope CCP do indeed strike down with vengeance and furious anger because it is deserved
The day the larger alliances begin to fall because of the punishments dealt out because of there part in RMT will make for a much more enjoyable, diverse 0.0.
I hope the ban hammer swings shortly. CCP have to remember they are the super power in this game, the creator. Not some alliance head who as stated above is some life lazy lard ar$e.

That may be true but I wonder just what the difference will be on the battlefield? RMT surely affords these large alliances the stupid amount of Titans and Super Carriers they have. I think we would see alot less of these starships if there were to be a most serious crack down on RMT.
It is not an easy task to afford a Titan for anybody yet we see the stupid amount being fielded in certain conflicts. Many tens of Titans, multiple trillions of isk!! This cannot be afforded through normal game play surely? I understand a Super at about 16 billion is affordable from the hard work of a single pilot. Are Titans affordable from the efforts of 1 pilot? to self fund this massive ship? I cannot see it personally
But as we speak of this, It's amazing just how fast these are recuperated upon loss and that is exactly where to look for RMT. |
